franklyfluent is a creative translation and copywriting agency who craft original copy for any culture, build a whole new tone of voice, and translate ideas by going beyond the words on the page. Their new exhibition, The World in Words, contrasts works from 15 illustrators from across the globe, all guided by the same creative brief: translate into visuals what words like ‘Home’, ‘Chaos’, ‘Move’, ‘Feast’, and ‘Humour’ mean to them.
We were asked to develop a microsite for the event showcasing the artwork from the event.
We worked closely with franklyfluent and their designer to build a microsite that stylistically reflected the event. Animations were used to create a sense of the site being alive as you scroll through it. The artwork is presented alongside copy in a simple structure, imitating the experience one has seeing the work live at the event. The microsite is responsive, working across all different devices and screen sizes.
